Arrival at Guayaquil’s Airport on time and transfer to the hotel. Dinner not included. Accommodation in Guayaquil.


Breakfast. Visit to the main avenues in the city, visit to the Park “Simón Bolivar”, Malecon 2000, the pier and “La Rotonda” with the monuments of Bolivar and San Martin. Visit to the neighborhood of Las Peñas, here you can admire the architecture made in wood and many of their houses are galleries of art, from this point you can see a beautiful overview of Guayaquil and the Guayas’s River on the Fort of Santa Ana. Lunch not included. Afterwards you can take a boat to visit the famous “Parque Histórico ”, themed attraction that recreates and revives the old Guayaquil, with their emblematic characters, traditions,  architecture and some rescued species of animals and plants. Return to the hotel. Dinner not included. Transfer to take boat Morgan. Return to the hotel.  Accommodation in Guayaquil.


Breakfast. Transfer towards Durán to take the steam locomotive. Departure at 08:00 from Durán’s Station Shipboard train. During our trip we will be driven by a steam engine fully restored along typical coastal plantations of rice, caña de azucar and bananas. Our next stop will be Bucay’s Station from here we tale a bus towards Hacienda San Rafael to get lunch. Additional activities such us horseback riding, canopy or bicycles are available on request. Our trip includes a tour by the plantations of cacao. Afterwards departure to the Limonar to spend time with the Shuar community. The community migrated nearly 70 years ago from the Amazon to the Pacific Coast. The Shuars will share their traditions showing dance, crafts and gastronomy. Dinner and accommodation in Bucay in the Hostry D’FRANCO.


After breakfast, we departure to Bucay’s station. From this station we start the ascent to the Andes.  As we move forward we will witness the dramatic transition of the landscape from the coast to the mountains. Once in Sibambe will be a short stop to appreciate the magnitude of this steam locomotive, which was known in its time of construction as the “world’s toughest”.  Later, we continue our ascent to the iconic Nariz del Diablo (Devil’s Nose). The train will make a zig-zag up to reach 1,755 feet of altitude in just 7.5 miles. Continue to the Chimborazo Wildlife Reserve located in the Central Cordillera of Interandina Region, through the provinces of Bolívar, Chimborazo and Tungurahua. One of the main reasons for its creation as Production Reserve Fauna was the reintroduction of camelids (llamas and vicuna), species that perfectly adopted to this area and who, with their grazing, maintain the original vegetation cover, protecting the water sources. With an area of 144,645 acres, it has a wide variety of native species, including around 145 endemic species. Covered by shrubs, valuable for conservation forest species also can be seen trees and rosemary bushes, mortiño, chuquiraguas, and occasionally sigses, pumamaquis, piquiles and species more typical of the Andes. Lunch not included. We continue to Riobamba for dinner and overnight.


Breakfast. Departure to Baños to visit the route of the waterfalls where you can appreciate Agoyán, Manto de la Novia, the Devil or Pailón Machay, ect. Lunch not included Continue to Punta Ahuano in Napo province where a canoe will take you to the lodge in the Amazon. Dinner and accommodation in Punta Ahuano.


Breakfast. Early morning, transfer in canoe to Punta Ahuano, then departure to Papallacta thermal baths, specialized in Hydrotherapy resort, offers tourists, health, recreation, adventure and great for your body and mind rest. Lunch not included. In the afternoon you can take a short hike on the “Sendero de la Isla” where small waterfalls and rapids formed by the river are observed. Return to Quito. Dinner not included. Accommodation in Quito.


Breakfast. Departure to the north of the city to Intiñan Museum, where you can experience and really feel at the Equator, then headed to the “Middle of the World” where shops will visit and observe a representation of the cities of the colonial era in its architecture, also see the monument that divides the northern hemisphere from the southern hemisphere of the planet, where you can take pictures with one foot in each hemisphere. It was built in the eighteenth century when a French Expedition defined the precise location of the Ecuador line that divides the world. Lunch is not included. We return to Quito for one of the expressways that lead to the Cable Car City located on Occidental Avenue and will reach 4,000 m in last season. Unique view of the city and if the weather permits to be able to observe the Avenue of the Volcanoes (Andes). We will go to the Historic Center of the First City Cultural Heritage. Keep up the Gran Colombia Avenue past the church of the Basilica of the National Vow to the Plaza de la Independencia in the colonial streets, visited on a walking tour the Cathedral, the Government Palace and Archbishop, Church of the Jesuits where they can see their ornaments and gold altars, the tabernacle and the church of San Francisco built in the sixteenth century, later arrived at Mirador del Panecillo, where the sculpture of the Virgin Mary is where you can admire a beautiful landscape QUITO Colonial and modern. Return to Hotel. Dinner is not included. Accommodation in Quito.


Breakfast. Out by the “Panamericana Norte” way with a brief stop in Guayllabamba where you can taste the “chirimoyas” fruit typical of the area, check out the viewpoint of the road to Cayambe to admire and photograph the beautiful valleys and mountains that surround the area. We will also have the opportunity to visit La Hacienda La Compañía de Jesús French Neoclassical built in 1919 and still retains its ceilings, wallpaper and flooring in perfect condition. It is decorated with original furniture and has a permanent display of roses produced in its plantations. The Ecuadorian Rosa is highly prized worldwide for their variety and quality, so that part of the tour of La Hacienda, includes a visit to the rose plantation where everything will be explained the process to produce roses for export, we will visit a greenhouse and the post-harvest. Before arriving in Otavalo we make a short stop at Mira Lago (Mirador in San Pablo) to photograph the beautiful San Pablo Lake and admirable beauty, we continue to reach Otavalo Indians “Otavalos”, they produce their tissues. Later visit the Otavalo market where artisans display their wares. Lunch not included. In the afternoon we visit Cotacachi leather for shopping before returning to Quito. Dinner not included. The night began our tour of the colonial part of the city, where you can see the spectacle of the illuminated churches, horse carts, the narrow streets of Old Town, then the viewpoint of the Roll for a spectacular panoramic view of Quito at night, and return to hotel. Accommodations in Quito.
